    Bart Shore plays this post-Monkees solo lick (sung by Davy Jones and written by Neil Sedaka) in honor of the late singer and “British Invasion” teen idol Davy Jones. “Odds are you don’t know this song, check it out,” Bart says. He offers a nice tribute as well.

    Despite his “boyish good looks,” Davy was probably the most mature of them when the group was cobbled together for TV. (He was the oldest, after all….)  Mike has later proven himself a thoughtful man and consummate musician/composer, drummer Mickey is now an actor/director, and Peter lived through famine after the group’s demise but has made a comeback!
